Jackson Hole Wrap Up and Bozeman Drive

January 18, 2009- Since I haven't posted in a few days I am going to combined two days of driving into one longer than usual post. Not much exciting stuff has happened. Sarah and I left Jackson Hole on Saturday afternoon after a great breakfast at this little spot called Jedediah's on E. Broadway right off the square, we both highly recommend it if you are in Jackson. Here is a picture of Kyle and Becky's house where we stayed for 3 nights.

We left town with a quick stop at Teton Village (Jackson Hole Ski Area). We passed over the Teton Pass into Idaho and got some great shots of the Teton Range from the "other side". Sarah drove for about 50 miles which was a nice relief but she is still re-learning how to drive manual so I am doing most of the driving. Here are some pictures of Teton Village and the Teton Range from Idaho.
Best bar in the Village! (pretty much only bar in the Village)

Sarah and I decided to do two things to commemorate our trip: 1. Always take a timer picture of us as we cross state lines 2. Get a beer coozy at every place we stay for a night. By the end of the trip we should have a pretty cool collection.

The Teton Range is in the background. This picture was taken from the Idaho looking back East towards WY.
The town of Bozeman was pretty uneventful. We grabbed dinner at Ted's Montana Grille and a few drinks at a great little local Irish Pub. The microbrew beers in MT are by far and away the best in the country (check out Madison River brews). The next morning we split for Missoula and during the drive we broke our first 1000 miles!

When you drive the interstates in MT you see interesting things like this.
Stockman's Bar in downtown Missoula. This sign was too classic not to take a picture of! Stoop don't worry I got you a t-shirt.
