We broke the 1,500 mile mark. Weird how we missed the 1,000 mile mark by exactly the same distance (see previous picture if you don't believe me).
We drove through an inversion cloud (picture 1) on our way up to Schweitzer Ski Resort (picture 2).
Once up at the mountain we found our new mascot. He is a little big but still a puppy. The lifties were trying to find a home for him so we decided to take him in. We haven't finalized his name but we are leaning towards Meat. He is half Alaskan Malamute and half wild wolf. It is a bit tight in the car now with Meat around but we will manage.
Here is a picture from the top of Schweitzer taken this morning. I went skiing while Sarah hung in the lodge and took care of Meat.
Which now brings me to the subject line of this blog. I think the picture speaks louder than words. "If you have the means I highly recommend you pick one up."
We are in Spokane, WA tonight and off to wine country tomorrow. Unfortunately for us we crossed over the state line on I-90 so we didn't get a state line timer pic. Maybe when we cross into Oregon we can run down the street and take a picture looking back into Washington. Hope all is well!
PS - We didn't adopt Meat, even though he was beautiful and amazing.
